CASE STUDY:
Patient presented with complaint of symptoms of breast deformity and palpable implants. She had a history of previous augmentation with subglandular saline implants. She desired explantation of the saline implants, correction of the capsular contracture, and reaugmentation with silicone implants. She had no previous pregnancies. She wore approximately a C cup bra in most bra styles. She desired to be more of a full D cup bra. The after pictures below are two months from breast augmentation. She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities.
PROCEDURE DETAILS:
Severe bilateral capsular contracture in subglandular pocket. Total capsulectomies performed, and implant pocket converted to dual plane pocket (partial submuscular). Bilateral saline implants were removed, and replaced with 400cc Mentor smooth round, Moderate Profile Plus, silicone gel implants.
