CASE STUDY:
Patient presented with complaint of symptoms of firm breasts and unacceptable cosmetic appearance. She had a history of silicone breast augmentation with diagnosed bilateral intracapsular implant rupture. She desired explantation and reaugmentation with silicone implants. She had no children yet. She wore approximately a D cup bra in most bra styles and desired to stay the same size. The after pictures below are two months from breast augmentation. She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities.
PROCEDURE DETAILS:
Bilateral severe capsular contracture with intracapsular ruptured silicone implants. Total capsulectomies performed. Reaugmentation performed in dual plane technique (partial submuscular) with 400cc Mentor smooth round, Moderate Profile plus, silicone gel implants.
