Houston Woman has Breast Revision Surgery

CASE STUDY: Patient presented for evaluation for breast rejuvenation. she had a previous augmentation years ago as well as pregnancies. She was unhappy with the "droopy" and heavy appearance of her breasts and desired to improve her breast shape in better proportions to her body. She wore approximately a DDD cup bra in most bra styles. She desired to decrease in implant size to approximately a full DD cup bra. The after pictures below are two months from breast revision surgery. Including removal of the saline implants, capsule removal, reaugmentation with silicone implants and breast lift. She had a delayed recovery secondary to small wound healing issues related to the complexity of the procedure requiring dressing changes only. She has since returned to all her lifestyle activities. PROCEDURE DETAILS: Over-filled saline breast implants were removed. The breast capsules (scar bag around implants) were carefully removed and reconstructed to reposition the new implants more centrally onto the chest wall. Reaugmentation with Sientra textured round, moderate profile plus 305cc silicone gel implants to improve the natural feel and volume projection. Final breast shape required a "anchor" scar mastopexy to retailor the skin envelope over the reduced new breast implant volume.
