CASE DESCRIPTION: Patient presented for evaluation to improve the appearance of her abdomen after pregnancies. She was unhappy with "stretched out tummy" with saggy excess skin and stretch marks. She also wanted to improve her "curves" with liposuction of the waistline and buttock augmentation with fat grafting to her buttocks (Brazilian Butt Lift). The after pictures below are two months after her procedure. She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities. PROCEDURE NOTES: Standard Abdominoplasty with anterior rectus fascia plication for diastesis (muscle separation of the midline) repair. Liposuction was performed to improve to contours of the waistline. Fat from the liposuction was transferred to her buttocks for augmentation. Exparel (longterm local anesthetic) was injected during the procedure to reduce postoperative pain and reduce amount of pain medicines required in the recovery period.
