CASE DESCRIPTION: Patient presented for evaluation to improve the appearance of her abdomen after a 100 pound weight loss with diet and exercise. She had no pregnancies yet. She was unhappy with "stretched out tummy" with saggy excess skin and stretch marks. The after pictures below are two months from abdominoplasty without muscle tightening (anterior rectus fascia plication). She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities. PROCEDURE NOTES: Extended Abdominoplasty was performed to remove the excess redundant skin. Exparel (longterm local anesthetic) was injected during the procedure to reduce postoperative pain and reduce amount of pain medicines required in the recovery period.
