CASE DESCRIPTION: Patient presented for evaluation to improve the appearance of her abdomen and breasts. She was unhappy with “stretched out tummy” with saggy excess skin and stretch marks, and “deflated” breasts. She wore a D cup and desired to improve her figure proportions. The after pictures below are two months from abdominoplasty with muscle tightening (anterior rectus fascia plication), and breast lift with fat transfer. She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities. PROCEDURE NOTES: A breast lift with anchor scar was performed and fat transfer for further enhancement. Standard Abdominoplasty with anterior rectus fascia plication for diastesis (muscle separation of the midline) repair. Liposuction was also performed to improve to contours of the waistline. Exparel (longterm local anesthetic) was injected during the procedure to reduce postoperative pain and reduce amount of pain medicines required in the recovery period.
