A mommy makeover is a combination of procedures, typically requires some amount of breast surgery, or that requires a breast augmentation with a lift, a little bit of body contouring with liposuction. Moving that fat into the buttocks, to fuller rounder buttock with the Brazilian butt lift. It typically has some component of abdominal re-contouring, such as a tummy tuck.
One of the most common adjuncts to surgery that I use for those procedures such as tummy tuck and mommy makeover is I use a product called Exparel. And Exparel is a long-term local anesthetic, and I inject this medicine during the surgery itself into the areas that have caused the most pain. The first three days are by far the most uncomfortable. So anything that helps in those first three days is very beneficial for the pain and discomfort after surgery. And the patients are able to get out of bed sooner, start walking around a little bit sooner and get better.
The cost of a mommy makeover typically is between 15, up to $25,000. And that range usually pays for contouring surgeries, such as a tummy tuck, probably liposuction, some kind of breast surgery with or without an implant.
