I chose him for my mommy makeover surgery (breast lift w/ augmentation and tummy tuck with lipo) because I really liked the results of his previous patients but most importantly, he understands the importance of exercise and nutrition and really promotes this in his practice for the best results. A mommy makeover is performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient setting (unless decided otherwise for your safety). The length of the surgery depends on which procedures are being performed for you – most mommy makeovers last about six hours. Dr. Morales can perform mommy makeovers with breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction, and/or fat transfers.
Breast Augmentation with implants
After childbearing, the breast tissue is often deflated and has lost both perkiness and volume. Breast augmentation adds fullness and volume to the breasts for a more contoured, aesthetic appearance. Breast implants, available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and types, can improve the appearance of breasts that have lost volume or fullness after pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Breast Lift
One of the most common effects of a recent pregnancy or breastfeeding is excess hanging skin due to stretching and loss of breast tissue density. Your breasts may have a sagging appearance. Breast lift surgery, medically referred to as mastopexy, eliminates the extra skin and tightens the remainder for firmer, perkier, more youthful-looking breasts. Can I Combine Other Surgeries With A Mommy Makeover?
Yes, it is possible to combine a mommy makeover with other types of surgery, such as a hysterectomy or c-section. However, we do not recommend it. Combining intra-abdominal procedures with a tummy tuck increases the risk of complications, such as bleeding. In the event of intra-abdominal bleeding, the tummy tuck incision would have to be taken down, which may compromise the final results. It is preferable to undergo a hysterectomy or c-section separately as this reduces the risk of complications and length of the postoperative recovery.

Can You Transfer My Fat To Other Areas On My Face Or Body?

For example, if you have a tummy tuck, Dr. Morales will remove fat from your abdominal area (also known as the donor site). The fat can be purified and reinjected into areas, like the buttocks, breasts, and face.
