Houston Woman has Breast Revision Surgery

CASE STUDY: Patient presented for symptoms of capsular contracture with hard firm breasts and unacceptable cosmetic appearance. Sh had a history of silicone breast augmentation over 25 years ago with silicone implants. She desired explantation and reaugmentation with saline implants and breast lift to improve shape. She wore approximately a D cup bra in most bra styles. She desired to remain the same size. The after pictures below are two months from breast augmentation. She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all lifestyle activities. PROCEDURE NOTES: Implants discovered in subglandular plane. Severe capsular contracture and intracapsular rupture (within capsule) requiring complete capsulectomies. New implant pocket created in Dual plane technique (partial submuscular). 360cc Allergan smooth round, Moderate Profile (style 15), saline implants placed and filled in delay technique (to reduce risk of skin and nipple complex compromise). full breast lifts performed.
