CASE STUDY: Patient presented with symptoms of capsular contraction of her breasts. She had history of augmentation with silicone implants over 20 years ago. A recent MRI revealed intracapsular ruptures. She desired removal and replacement of her implants. She wore approximately a C cup bra in most bra styles. She desired to be about the same size. The after pictures below are two months from explantation of the ruptured silicone implants, total capsulectomies, and reaugmentation with silicone implants. She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities. PROCEDURE DETAILS: Bilateral ruptured silicone implants removed, total capsulectomies, and replaced with Mentor textured round, Moderate Profile, 300cc silicone gel implants.
