Houston Woman has Body lift Surgery*
CASE DESCRIPTION: Patient presented for evaluation to improve the appearance of her body after massive weight loss. . She was unhappy with "stretched out tummy" with saggy excess skin of abdomen, flanks. The after pictures below are two months from body lift with muscle tightening (anterior rectus fascia plication). She had a quick recovery, and has returned to all her lifestyle activities. PROCEDURE NOTES: A body lift with anterior rectus fascia plication for diastesis (muscle separation of the midline) repair was performed. Liposuction was also performed to improve to contours of the waistline and transferred into the buttocks for augmentation. Exparel (longterm local anesthetic) was injected during the procedure to reduce postoperative pain and reduce amount of pain medicines required in the recovery period. More
